Citrix Developer Portal

Citrix started developing their API platform a couple of years back. However, when I joined the project I observed that the drop rate was alarmingly high at about 62%. Although I was the only designer in this project, I took complete ownership of design and strategy, collaborated with all stakeholders, leveraged the findings from Google Analytics and customer feedback to redesign the portal and brought down the drop rate to under 40%. Please check the redesigned Citrix Developer Portal site here (Optimised for Chrome & Safari based on traffic)

As per data from Google Analytics, the home page had the maximum traffic and maximum drop offs. I further looked at the traffic data for various sections in the homepage. From the data and customer feedback, I collaborated with product owners, the director of developer evangelism, UX researchers to iterate on the new home page design. While few elements were retained, a lot were added or changed with an objective to improve user engagement, navigation, communication and thereby to reduce the drop off rate.
